The man, who climbed part of the 96-metre high structure whilst waving a Palestinian flag sparked a huge emergency response this morning, is finally being brought down 16 hours later.
A barefoot pro-Palestine protester was arrested after a 16-hour standoff on Big Ben's Elizabeth Tower, waving a Palestinian flag while being brought down by rescuers. The protester live-streamed the event, chanting "Free, free Palestine" and smearing blood on the tower, leading to an emergency response, security concerns, and support from pro-Palestinian crowds below.
